Juanita E. Sawyer of Sanford, Florida passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020.
She was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Noel A. Prince and Hazel Spann Prince.
Juanita was always saying how much she loved her home. She loved her roses and butterflies and working in the yard winning "Yard of the Month" several time, of which she was very proud. She had a "green thumb" and could put a stick in the ground and have a beautiful plant it was amazing. She didn't have a lot of hobbies but she did love her TV. She loved the series Cops, Fox News and watching her favorite baseball team the Rays.
Juanita will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Barfield and Lana Thompson, six grand-children, Deanna Lovett, Dionne Vittitow, Drew Barfield, Lara Dale, Lisa Hammock and Douglas "Bubba" Thompson, sixteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers.
A memorial service will be at Gramkow Funeral Home on Airport Blvd., in Sanford, Florida, January 20, 2020 at 10:00 am with gathering of family and friends and a service starting at 11:00.
She will be placed in her finally resting place at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery, Lake Mary, Florida following services. A reception will follow at Seminole Community Church of Sanford, Florida.
She was a strong and independent woman and she will be missed.
