Brenda Jean Bond age 69, of Oviedo, Florida, passed away March 30, 2019. She was born June 26, 1949 in Pana, Illinois, the daughter of the late Paul Benedict and Fay Imogene (Washburn) Lehn. Prior to her retirement Brenda was a gifted teacher, she taught foreign languages to home schooled students. She was a member of the Aloma Church where she was an active member in the woman's ministries. There she was a ministry leader of the single moms group, she truly loved her church family. Brenda loved to travel, gardening, and music. Above all she was very family oriented, and the "Hostess" of all the family functions. Brenda was predeceased by her husband James Michael Bond in 2014. She is survived by her children Brent (Kimberly) Bond, Nicole (Eric) Adams, and James Nathaniel (Anna) Bond; brother William (Nancy) Lehn, sister Annette (Kenneth) Plants, aunt Judy (Danny) Griffith. Brenda is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Emma, Eliza, Winston, James Ford, Ronan, baby boy Bond, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM at Collison Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Aloma Church 1815 SR 436 Winter Park, Fl., 32792. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery 1603 Greenwood Street Orlando, Fl., 32801. Following the graveside service all are invited to attend a dinner at the Bond Family Home.
