Camille Reed Theobald, 85, Orlando, Florida, entered into rest Wednesday, January 23, 2019.  Camille was born July 15, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio.  After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from The College of St Mary of the Springs (Ohio Dominican), she married Dr. Jerome Arthur Theobald, with whom she would enjoy 55 years of marriage.  Together, Camille and Jerry raised six children and owned and operated Theobald Animal Hospital, while Jerry served as the veterinarian for the Cincinnati Zoo.  Jerry and Camille moved to Pompano Beach, Florida, in 1977 where they owned and operated the Collins Animal Hospital.  Upon retiring, they moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida.  Camille was a world traveler who took more than 50 cruises with her husband and continued her travels after his passing in 2011.  Camille was also an accomplished artist, whose paintings won awards in art shows and competitions in Ohio and Florida.  While struggling with years of pain, she created more than 150 Memory Bears for hospice in Brevard County.  Camille was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Nancy Anne Theobald.  She is survived by her five children, Michael Theobald of Lynn Haven, Florida (Rachel), Mary Lou Elie of Pompano Beach, Florida (Richard), Paula Collins of Oviedo, Florida (Michael), Geralyn Ashburn of Tallahassee, Florida (David), and Joseph Theobald of Fleming Island, Florida (Kimberly); twelve grandchildren, Richard Theobald, Rebecca Haines, Austin Collins, Sean Collins, Ryan Collins, Andrew Ashburn, Reed Ashburn, Elise Ashburn, Luke Ashburn, Joseph Theobald, Meghan Theobald, Morgan Theobald; and four great grandchildren, Thalia, Cassandra, Remy, and August.  For those wishing to honor Camille, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Foosaner Art Museum, Melbourne, Florida; VITAS Community Connection, and the Cincinnati Zoo.
