James Bullard (fondly known as Jim), age 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4th in Penney Farms, Florida. James was born on November 17th, 1941 in Milan Tennessee to Boyd and Gladys Bullard. After graduating from Union University, he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1963 where he rose to the rank of Captain and was a Weapons Control Officer in the Vietnam War. While stationed in Thailand, he met his first wife Pornpen Prugpichailers whom he married in 1973. After his service, he began a successful career in advertising as a copywriter in Orlando for the next 35 years and also became a Mensa member. In 2002, he married his present wife, Erin Challen. Jim and Erin began their retirement career as missionaries to China from 2004-2016. Jim lived his life to the fullest and was someone who always loved international travel, adventure, and collecting snuff bottles and rare coins. Captain Bullard will always be remembered for his sense of humor and intellect. He is survived by his wife, Erin Bullard; daughter, Christiana Bullard Muscat (Angelo); and granddaughter Isabel Muscat. Family and Friends are also welcome to attend the burial on Sunday, January 13th at 2pm at the Greenwood Cemetery (1603 Greenwood Street, Orlando 32801).
