Obituary

Kathryne M. "Kay" Geiger age 83, of Geneva, Florida, passed away June 3, 2022. She was born October 10, 1938 in Clewiston, Florida, the daughter of the late George and Laura Messer. Prior to retirement she was the bookkeeper/secretary for a development construction company with projects in Florida and Saudi Arabia. Kay enjoyed worldwide travel and especially salmon fishing in Alaska. She also loved good food, hummingbirds, and her jack russell terrier, Chubby. Mrs. Geiger was predeceased by her husband William Geiger in 2017, and one brother Edwin Messer. She is survived by five children James P. (Dorothea) Geiger, Barbara (Juan) Del Castillo, Beth Geiger, Patti Geiger, Kathy Hall, and one sister Joann Peterson. Kay is also survived by three grandchildren Shyann Geiger, Emily Topper, and Miranda Whidden. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Geneva Cemetery.
